I'll try to write my first post. I'm Cold brew cat, let it be that for now. I'm 34 years old and I've known about Neocities for quite a while, but I never could get around to it and partly was afraid to approach creating my own site. But apparently, the time has come.
I live in Russia, we recently moved to a village from Saint Petersburg. I don't know when I'll even unpack things, this is my first "adult" move with furniture, cats, and boxes of winter clothes and New Year decorations. It's already gloomy and quite chilly here, we heat the wood stove in the morning and evening. I don't know how it'll be in winter.
Ideally, the stove needs to be replaced and radiators run from it. And in a perfect world we`d like to do a major renovation: open up the walls and replace the insulation. So far, out of all my preparation for winter, I've only been knitting blankets and looking for ads selling firewood in our village
In the evening I went for a walk around the village, and this time I went through the cemetery. Lots of Finnish surnames in the older part, and in the newer part I came across this interesting gravestone. Very atypical for Russian cemeteries, at least around Saint Petersbur. It's the first time I've seen anything like it. Usually in the last 20 years people choose black or brown glossy granite rectangles, not very beautiful in my opinion.
